The drawings herewith show a simple and effective arrangement for holding a lath to a table top. A cleat A (Figs. 1 and 2) is fixed to the end of the lath B by a couple of screws, as indicated, the cleat and lath being held to the table top by inserting a wedge VV, as shown. Fig. 3 is a view of the cleat; this and the wedge should be made of hardwood.
