In cleaning white canvas shoes having white leather facings, first tree the shoes, or fill them with soft paper. Well wash and scrub them, then give them one or two coats of " Blanco," made up in water to about the consistency of cream. Apply this with a sponge and, when nearly dry, brush out with a clean brush. When quite dry, take out the paper or trees and give the shoes a good hard brushing to remove all the " Blanco," except what is necessary to leave them a clean rough white.
