A. officinalis: stem 3-5 feet high, the foliage, stalks, and flowers bright green; leaves 2-3 feet wide, the leaflets ovate-lanceolate, all sessile, partly decurrent, the terminal one trifid; petioles much dilated at the base. - Watery places. Fl. July to September.
