L. europseus: stems erect, branching, slightly hairy, two feet high; leaves ovate-oblong, deeply toothed or pinnatifid; flowers small, numerous, in dense axillary whorls or clusters, whitish with purple dots. - Wet ditches and marshes. Fl. July, August.
