D.tenuifolia: stem 1-1 1/2 foot high, shrubby below, branched, glabrous, leafy; leaves glaucous, linear-lanceolate, very acute, sinuate-dentate or pinnatifid, the segments linear, remotely dentate; flowers large, yellow; plant fetid. - Old walls and wastes. Fl. June to October.
