A. Tripolium: stem 1-2 feet high, erect, hollow, leafy, many-flowered, smooth corymbose; leaves linear-lanceolate, fleshy, smooth; flower-heads large, with a yellow disk, and bright blue rays, the rays often wanting. - Muddy salt marshes. Fl. August, September.
