Letters indicating learned degrees can sometimes be added after the names. They are as follows:

LL.D.: Doctor of Laws and Learning. LL.B.: Bachelor of Laws and Learning. D.d.: Doctor of Divinity. M.a.: Master of Arts. B.a.: Bachelor of Arts. M.d.: Doctor of Medicine.
