A syrupy liquid containing about 1 per cent. by weight of absolute hydriodic acid. Description and Properties. - A transparent, colorless, or only pale-straw colored liquid, odorless, and having a sweet and acidulous taste.
Dose. - 1/2-2 fluidrams (2.0-8.6 Cc.) [1 dram (4 Cc), U. S. P.].
