Latin, Taraxacum
Eng., Taraxacum. Synonym, Dandelion. The dried rhizome and roots of Taraxacum officinale.
Eng., Extract of Taraxacum. Average Dose.-15 grains (1 Gm.).
Eng., Fluidextract of Taraxacum. Average Dose.-2 1/2 fluidrachms (10 mils).
Bitter tonic, laxative. Uses.-Sometimes used as adjuvant to other tonics or purgatives. Seldom prescribed.
