Plate 8

A design that appeals because of its ingenuity is the folding book-rack sent in by Frederick B. Riggs of San-tee, Nebraska. The hinge which is cut from 26 gauge sheet brass makes it possible to fold the rack into compact form for traveling. The hinge is put on with 3/4-inch No. 6 round head brass screws.
