In order to confirm that Carol was indeed in her channel, wave vectors were taken from the skull. All wave vectors from one side of the head went towards her Vivaxis, while those from the other side travelled in the opposite direction. This was a strong indication that she was correctly aligned in her channel. The former X-ray wave interference could not be detected during the interval that her head was aligned in her own channel - another sign of the augmented strength of her own polarized waves.

Carol was next instructed to stand and tilt her head down, for in this position her head was not in a high energy state. This was a precaution against unnecessary exposure.

Two weighted posts were set in alignment to the direction of her Vivaxis and placed some eight feet apart. Two coloured plastic adhesive tapes, eight inches in length, were crossed to mark the centre point between the posts; one strip placed in direct alignment, the other across the centre at right angles. The cross provided a guide for placing the feet and body when facing the four required directions. The success of polarizing depends on accuracy.

Carol now stood over the crossed tapes facing in her channel but still keeping her head down until we were ready to commence polarizing. Throughout the entire proceedings I took special care to position myself out of my own channel; further, I took great precautions to keep out of Carol's channel while she was polarizing. When we were ready Carol was requested to stand with her head in alignment and eyes closed. A brief testing of the upper and lower parts of the body confirmed she was correctly aligned, since the wave vectors from all points above the waist went in the direction of her Vivaxis and the wave vectors below the waist travelled in the opposite direction. In a confirmation test such as I have described, I used points on the side of the body. Further, I checked each time she realigned to make sure that not only was she in alignment, but also her head was level.

The process of depolarizing the head X-rays began in earnest as I used a "Bess-bonger" to upset the foreign atomic spin pattern of the skull. The force used in the "bonging" procedure was gauged to a degree that did not interfere with Carol's ability to hold her head level and firmly in position; she faced to her Vivaxis with eyes closed while all points on one side of her head were "bonged". One side was completed first before touching any part of the other - an important consideration to the success of the endeavour. When every portion had been well stimulated, Carol tilted her head while I crossed to her other side. After she had raised her head to level once again, I repeated the "bonging' process to the other lateral surface of her skull. Having completed the stimulation of both sides of Carol's head, a waiting period of eight seconds was required for the atomic spin pattern to absorb the influence of her own magnetic wave pattern. Carol then briefly opened her eyes to turn and align in the opposite direction, using the tapes on the floor as guides. She closed her eyes again and stood with head level and feet apart for fifteen seconds with her mind relaxed and tranquil; the reversing energies of her own magnetic wave pattern, essential to the reinstatement of her correct polarity, were being received and it was unnecessary to stimulate when faced in this direction. After the period of fifteen seconds, Carol opened her eyes and moved out of her channel.

For the next half hour Carol walked and exercised alone in the fresh air. This was a period of stimulated wave activity and Carol exerted her body in order to dissipate any surplus of electrons. It was best to allow her to attain her proper magnetic pattern without the interference of foreign waves from other people. Further, Carol's magnetic wave pattern was strong during this period and could have adverse effects on those coming in close contact with her, since her strongly polarized state created atomic radiation which can often be felt by others. Carol had been subjected to a comparatively long period of treatment and it was recommended she wait several days before further polarizing.

She returned in three days when I was able to test the neurons of her head without the interference of X-rays. Testing was conducted with Carol sitting in a position out of her channel, legs apart and grounded to the floor, hands apart and grounded on her upper legs, eyes were closed and brain relaxed.

On the left side of the head where Carol had been injured by the rock, I detected an area of disturbance linked to a depression in the bone structure of the skull; there was an incoherent weak pattern which indicated a deficiency of magnetic waves associated with the scar tissue. This particular zone was also the site of nerves connected with the back. In the area surrounding the injury there were three receptors* which had wildly circulating patterns; two more on the forehead were similarly disturbed. The latter were situated in that portion of the head which was injured when she shattered the windshield.

* Receptor - The point at which a wave impulse is received.
