1 cup white sugar
1 cup Kayro lite corn syrup
1 cup Jif peanut butter
6 cups Rice Krispies cereal
1 cup Nestle's semi-sweet chocolate bits
1 cup Nestle's butterscotch morsels
In a saucepan over medium heat add white sugar and lite corn syrup--stir
and cook until boiling. Remove from heat--add peanut butter to corn syrup
mixture--stir well. Add the cereal--stir until mixed. Press the mixture into a
buttered 9 x 13 cake pan--smooth it out using the back of a greased spoon--
set aside. In a microwave safe bowl add the butterscotch and chocolate
chips--melt in microwave according to bag directions--stir until smooth.
Spread melted butterscotch/chocolate mixture on top of the cereal mixture in
the cake pan. Cool on the counter--after they are firm, cut into squares or
bars.
